Sandeep Badal is a visual storyteller working in comics, illustration, and filmmaking.
A Fulbright Scholar with an MFA from Boston University, his work spans graphic storytelling, editorial illustration, and cinema, including collaborative projects with The Boston Globe, American cartoonist Joel Christian Gill, and Nobel laureates Daron Acemoglu and Simon Johnson.Most recently, he wrote the story and dialogue for Elephants in the Fog and served as its script supervisor. The film was officially selected at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival (Un Certain Regard).
